Burçin YANARDAĞ

Since I graduated from Yıldız Technical University in 2016, I have been actively working onboard at oceangoing vessels. While I was studying, I had the opportunity to work in the offices, shipyards and workshops of various companies and gained experience. I joined Besiktas Shipping in 2018. I am currently working on several ships of the company as a first engineer. I am happy to work in a company that pays attention to gender equality and has proven itself in the professional community.

Erdem DUMAN

Being a captain was my childhood dream and I could not imagine how adventurous and instructive this journey would be.

After graduation from Maritime University, I worked in different types of ships such as crude oil tankers, chemical tankers, and gas tankers. 2015, the year I joined Besiktas Shipping team, was one of the milestones of my career. I took responsibility for the safety of the ship and the well-being of the crew. It’s so encouraging to work with a group such as Besiktas, that pays great attention to the health, safety and quality issues. All my duties and the practices in Besiktas made me more disciplined and improved my leadership skills. In 2021, I started working as a Ship Captain and I feel so lucky that my dreams came true.

Mert Can BODUÇ

I have started my career as a cadet on 2013 at Besiktas Shipping and after all these years  I see how valuable it was to work with right people guiding me and trusting my passion. I had chance to gain experience in different types of vessels such as dry bulk carrier, chemical tanker, product tanker, Liquified Ethylene Gas Carriers of Besiktas fleet. I owe much to Besiktas Shipping that I had chance to be a member, they have always been so friendly and guiding throughout my career, which rewarded me as the youngest master in the fleet.

Nergiz DAŞLIÇAY

I have joined Besiktas Shipping team in 2016 as a trainee when I was a student at Istanbul Technical University Maritime Faculty. Since the very first day, I had great mentors that guided me to learn the realities of the seas and had their support to achieve my career goals. Today I am on board as a chief officer, and I feel so lucky to work with such professionals and be a part of a big family.
